Katherine is a Washington, DC-based journalist and writer with experience covering poverty, homelessness, drugs, and local politics. 

Readers can find her bylines in The Nation, Street Sense Media, and the Georgetown Voice, where she serves as the assistant news editor and service chair.

She will graduate from Georgetown University in May 2025 with a B.S. in Culture and Politics and a concentration on gender and migration. She loves talking about her hometown, Pittsburgh, but please don't ask her about football.
